Matt is a trusted and innovative Human Resources professional with 15+ years of experience helping organizations and leaders deliver value through their People programs. Matt’s motivational and collaborative approach provides trusted solutions in the areas of HR Strategy, Talent Management, Recruitment & Selection, Learning and Development, Change Management, HRIS, Performance Management, HR Governance and Compensation.

Over the past 20 years, Matt’s HR and Operations experience includes management and senior-level roles with leading companies including Crombie Real Estate Investment Trust, Empire Theatres, Starbucks Coffee, and OLS Inc. The depth of Matt’s experience provides unique insight and exceptional value to his clients when guiding them through solving the significant HR challenges that businesses are experiencing today.

In addition to providing consulting support, Matt is a Business Administration Instructor with the Nova Scotia Community College where he teaches courses in the areas of HR Management, Marketing, Communications and Project Management.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New Brunswick, an Advance Diploma in Human Resource Management from Nova Scotia Community College, a Masters in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University and has completed the Rotman’s Board Human Resource Committee program from the University of Toronto.
