David is a performance-driven Supply Chain Management Professional with over 30 years of experience in a variety of industries. He has strong knowledge of supply chain management and has a proven track record of meeting customer schedules ensuring quality service and timely delivery at minimal cost.

David started in the newsprint business in an administrative position then promoting to Purchasing and Logistics Superintendent. By starting at the bottom, David acquired the knowledge to be successful through a deep understanding of what it takes to get the job done, and to pull team members together towards a common goal. David later worked in both the mining and mechanical contracting sectors, adding value to a variety of organizations as a seasoned Supply Chain Professional.

Over the past 20 years David has created and implemented operational policy that has resulted in optimized procurement and logistics activities in several companies including AbitibiBowater, Design Built Mechanical, Kria Resources and Blue Note Caribou Mines. These activities were focused on strategic implementation of approval processes, expediting, contract management, and vendor evaluation. He also provided significant value in managing inventory and transportation activities, including the design and implementation of key performance indicators.

David has experience in Quality Systems and was instrumental in the implementation of ISO Certification as a Team Leader. He has also chaired safety committees in union environments.

David has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick and has completed his Supply Chain Management Professional designation from the Supply Chain Management Association. He served on the Board of Directors for the New Brunswick Supply Chain Management Institute.
