Carol is an accomplished manufacturing professional with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and heavy industry.  She has a diverse background that includes mining, steel forging and fabrication, and tire manufacturing.  Her varied background allows her to draw on experiences that support developing and implementing the processes necessary to drive improvement.

As a graduate of Acadia University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Carol is a Professional Engineer bringing experience in the areas of Industrial Engineering, Visual Management Systems, Manufacturing Leadership and Project Management.

One of Carol’s greatest strengths is in the area of Continuous Improvement.  As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Industrial Engineering specialist, Carol brings with her the ability to effectively apply Lean tools and methodology resulting in  sustainable, long-term benefits for the client.

For the past 10 years Carol has been coaching and training employees at all levels of manufacturing organizations, as well as facilitating workshops to improve cost, lead time, and productivity processes.  As a mentor and coach to other Lean Six Sigma Green Belt candidates, she has a proven ability to teach others how to make sustained improvements in their organizations.

Carol is also a skilled problem solver and has expertise in applying root cause analysis to develop solutions that are effective and enduring. Carol’s calm and pragmatic approach, combined with her coaching and facilitation skills, enables a change management approach that drives value for her clients.
