Ann Vermette is a Human Resources consultant with over twenty years HR experience, and a passion for providing HR solutions to help companies meet their strategic goals through their people. Ann enjoys working with a variety of organizations, particularly in the early stages of transition. Her specialization includes all major areas of the Human Resource function, including recruitment and selection, employee orientation, performance management, employee relations, labour relations, disability management, health and safety, labour law compliance and policy development. She also has expertise and strong skills in training and development.
Ann holds a degree in Psychology from Dalhousie University and a Human Resources Management Diploma (Honors) from the Nova Scotia Community College. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and is a member of the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick (HRANB). Recently, Ann decided to further expand her education and is currently taking her Master of Arts degree, with the intention of enhancing her coaching skills with leaders to enable them to become invaluable assets to their organization.
Ann started her career in her roots of Halifax, venturing to Toronto, and returning to Moncton where she currently resides with her family. She has worked in an array of business settings from entrepreneurial, family owned businesses to international global organizations, including both unionized and non-unionized environments. She has significant experience in the transportation, manufacturing, insurance, and retail industries.
Ann is known for her ability to build strong relationships with others, and to tackle people related challenges utilizing her knowledge and passion until the issue is resolved. This skill is what makes Ann such a valuable and impactful resource to her clients.
