SSI is growing, and having recently added a Vice President of Business Development, has a need to expand our team of Management Consultants. Our need for additional Consultants is in a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to: Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Business Strategy, Finance, Operations, Quality, and Project Management. Additional subject matter expertise will also be given consideration.

As a Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic solutions and leading effective implementation for our growing list of clients throughout Atlantic Canada. A willingness to put the time and effort in to ensure client success is part of the SSI culture, and therefore has a significant impact on how our consultants deliver in their role. Consultants work with a high level of independence, and their geographic location is highly flexible.

Compensation structure is primarily performance based, with attractive compensation levels achievable with reasonable levels of success.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in progressive management roles in the public or private sectors
  • Strong relationship builder, both with the internal SSI team, as well as with current and prospective customers
  • A significant level of expertise in the candidate’s consulting discipline of choice, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • Self motivation and ability to work independently with minimal direction is a key requirement
  • Oral and written fluency in both English and French would be considered an asset
  • Some travel within Atlantic Canada will be required, with support for expenses provided in adherence with SSI’s expense reimbursement policies
