We currently require a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This is a new role for our organization, and requires strong abilities to multitask, and to cope with and support significant change.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, analysis of relevant data and market research to a newly formed team performing supply chain activities, across multiple categories, resulting in increased value, effectiveness, and efficiencies for the organization as a whole. This role will also play a support function for the Facilities function.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors in the marketplace.
  • Source requirements as directed.
  • Ensure vendor metrics are up to date and reporting is completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaison with A/P to ensure timely payment of vendors as per purchasing terms and conditions.
  • Ensure adherence to purchasing and contract management policies.
  • Maintain metrics and measurement systems as required.
  • Research & report market forces and pricing trends.
  • Maintain data to support data driven decision making.
  • Maintain & report on relevant inventories.
  • Support internal customers in development of specifications.
  • Prepare & place purchase orders as required.
  • Expedite delivery schedules.
  • Report on internal and external spend data as required.
  • Provide back up support to other departmental functions
  • Assist in facilities management in customer service, data management and other administrative duties

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business office environment
  • Post-secondary education focussed on Business administration
  • SMT diploma or willingness to work towards completion
  • Above average computer software skills including Microsoft word, excel, power point
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Oral and written fluency in both English and French
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems considered an asset
  • Experience in banking, financial management or professional services is an asset
